William Balfour — the “person of interest” in the murders of Jennifer Hudson’s family members will see a familiar face in the pen if he’s charged and convicted. His dad is serving a 30-year stretch for murder.

Pro golfer and renowned alcoholic John Daly got so trashed at a Hooter’s in Winston-Salem that he passed out. When he refused medical attention, cops hauled him off to the can for a 24-hour “sober up.”

The photographer suing Keanu Reeves for running over him laid it on thick on the witness stand yesterday. He testified that he hasn’t worked since the incident and had to see a psychologist because he couldn’t sleep at night. Then he began to sob.
 
Now that’s she’s been shown the door on “Dancing With the Stars,” Cloris Leachman’s next gig is a role in the Brad Pitt flick “Inglourious Basterds,” which is filming in Berlin. It’s a Quentin Tarantino World War II flick. The 82-year-old says she might return to Broadway after that.
 
Julianne Hough is back home and resting after her successful surgery.
 
What are the odds? “Dancing with the Stars” pro Lacey Schwimmer told “The Insider” that she was just diagnosed yesterday with the same condition Julianne Hough suffers from — endometriosis.

E! says “Denise Richards: It’s Complicated” has been officially renewed for a second season.

Joaquin Phoenix says his recently wrapped flick, “Two Lovers”, with Gwyneth Paltrow, will be his last. He wants to concentrate on his music. He told “Extra”: “I want to take this opportunity… also to give you the exclusive and just talk a little bit about the fact that this will be my last performance as an actor. I’m not doing films anymore.” His rep confirms the news.
 
“Weeds” actress Mary-Louise Parker has signed on to play Michael Douglas‘ love interest in a flick called “Solitary.”
 
A few magazines are reporting that Jennifer Aniston is pregnant with John Mayer’s child and that’s the reason they are back together. Not true says Mayer’s camp.

Jermaine Jackson says the Jackson 5 will reunite in 2009. “This has been a long time coming for the Jackson family to get back together,” he told the Australian AP. “It is just the timing, so what we’ve been doing is working on the music and all the logistics. It is going to be more like a family affair, Janet’s going to open and, of course, the original Jackson 5 … Michael, Randy and the whole family … We’re in the studio, we’re planning on being out there next year.”
 
To the surprise of no one, AC/DC’s “Black Ice” takes over the top spot on the album chart, selling over 784,000 copies in its first week despite being a Wal-Mart exclusive. The soundtrack to Disney’s “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” bows at No. 2, while T.I.’s “Paper Trail” drops 2-3.
