Brooke Shields‘ drama “Lipstick Jungle” looks like it may have been saved at the last minute. A recent up tick in DVR viewing may have done the trick and NBC says if it continues to see progress, the network will order more episodes.
“South Park” may end with a big-screen movie sequel. “We talked about maybe some day doing a movie to sort of end it all, and that seems like the best idea,” says Trey Parker. “That’s been a big thought to do the last show as a movie.”

If his lawyer is to be believed, Michael Jackson is too sick to fly to London to defend himself in that breach-of-contract lawsuit brought by a Bahrain sheik. “On a best-case prognosis, it would be unwise for him to travel, given what he’s got now,” the attorney told London’s High Court. He refused to elaborate further.
U2’s producer Daniel Lanois spoke with the Boston Herald about the band’s upcoming album, which is due early next year. He said: “The president of the company (Bono) is singing better than ever and the tracks are wildly innovative. I would never have thought things would have gone this way.
