(No wonder everyone is so cranky.)  According to the website, the couple is expected to announce their divorce tonight on their TLC special. Kate has reportedly consulted a divorce attorney and Jon plans to file divorce papers next week.  The website says that Jon has been living in sleeping quarters in the garage. Reportedly, “six months ago Kate came to Jon and said, ‘Hey, it’s over.’” A source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com that Jon reached the point where he didn’t want to be in the same house with Kate, much less sleep with her.  Jon has been seen recently looking for apartments in New York. …

Ryan Seacrest says has met with Lindsay Lohan to discuss a reality show that will help people whose lives are full of wrong turns. He Twittered: “Met with Lindsay last night about a show idea I have for her. It helps people and gives others a second shot! Still putting it all together.”

Gisele Bündchen, 29, and husband, Tom Brady, are expecting a baby together. She is due early next year. This will be the supermodel’s first child; Brady has a son, John, with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.

In an interview in Playboy magazine, actor, Alec Baldwin is considering writing a parental guide book. The actor, who really showed his colors after an answer machine message of an attack on his teenage daughter Ireland was leaked online, insists he’s the perfect person to write such a book. Baldwin says he received letters from fans who revealed they’d never been able to shake harsh things their parents had told them - and, as a result, treated their own kids with kindness at all times. As a result, he fears parents have stopped parenting. “People are raising their children with the belief that we need to be friends with our children. Kids have too much power and call too many of the shots,
telling their parents what they will and won’t do.”

Those two police chiefs in Ohio, accused of being involved in a break-in at the home of the surrogate for Sarah Jessica Parker, were allegedly ratted out by a tabloid. Reports say Martins Ferry Police Chief Barry Carpenter allegedly broke into the woman’s home and took 15 cell phone pictures that some tabloid was willing to pay $15,000 for. Apparently he and his partner in the scheme, neighboring police chief Chad Dojack, got greedy and demanded $30,000 for the snaps. The tabloid told them to go pound sound and allegedly snitched on them to authorities. 

For the second time, Oprah Winfrey has taken her entire staff and their families on a family vacation.  This time they’re going on a lavish Mediterranean cruise.  Everyone left on Saturday.  The ship will stop in Spain, Italy, Turkey, Greece and Malta. She is covering transportation, food, drinks and activities at port stops. (Approximately $5,400 per person) In 2005, Winfrey celebrated the end of her “Wildest Dreams” season by surprising her staff with an all-expenses-paid trip to Hawaii.

Professional skateboarder Tony Hawk brought his skateboard to the White House on Friday and took a spin on his board in the grand foyer and the Old Executive Office Building. Hawk joined other dads, athletes and celebrities at a Father’s Day forum hosted by President Barack Obama. Celebrity chef Bobby Flay helped man the barbecue grills for a White House picnic goers, which included NBA players Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat and Etan Thomas of the Washington Wizards.

“Dancing With the Stars” mainstay Julianne Hough has landed the female lead opposite Chace Crawford in the planned “Footloose” remake.

“Scrubs” is leaving the hospital for the classroom this coming season. Turk and Dr. Cox will become med school professors to freshen up the show.

Reese Witherspoon has started raising chickens on her California ranch and they’re producing so many eggs she’s giving them away to her neighbors, parents on her kids’ soccer team and all her friends.

Jennifer Love Hewitt is writing a book about dating. “I thought it was time to share the real story of what I’ve learned navigating the dating waters,” she says. “Hopefully, in addition to having a good laugh, women reading this will learn from some of the hard lessons I’ve learned.”
