Jon and Kate are going to split. Legal documents to separate were filed at the Bucks County Courthouse in Doylestown, Penn., Monday afternoon. Fans are hardly surprised, but saddened by the breakup after it became apparent that the couple was headed in two different directions. Jon wanted a less high-profile life, while Kate is committed to their television career. Both say they love and remain committed to the children. …
Farrah Fawcett is back in the hospital. There’s not much info on her current condition, but “Entertainment Tonight” reported Ryan O’Neal is trying to arrange for their son Redmond to temporarily leave jail to see her for what may be one final visit.
In a preview of this Friday’s episode of “20/20,” Ryan O’Neal says he and Farrah Fawcett will remarry when she regains her ability to speak. He says he asked Farrah to marry him, and she said yes . . . but she wants a pre-nup
Matthew McConaughey celebrated his first Father’s Day with the news that he’s gonna be a dad again. The actor made the announcement on his website saying that he and his girlfriend, Brazilian model Camila Alves, are expecting another baby together. McConaughey’s son Levi was born last July.
Chris Brown reached a plea agreement Monday that spared him jail time in his domestic violence case against singer, Rihanna. Brown, in turn, was sentenced to five years probation and 180 days of community labor in Virginia. In exchange, he pleaded guilty to felony assault by means likely to cause great bodily injury. He also was ordered to stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna, except at industry events, when it’s 10 yards. If he violates his probation, he’ll face four years in jail. L.A. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg said she wanted Brown to be treated the same as any other person who would appear in her court and ordered to conduct his public service by picking up trash along the highway or removing graffiti, plus attend a two week domestic violence program.
In other D-list news, Heidi and Spencer Pratt are heading back to the jungle for Wednesday’s finale of “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” along with their fellow castoffs from the show.
Los Angeles police were sent to the home of Lindsay Lohan at 4:00 am after neighbors complained about her blaring loud music. She was given a ticket for excessive noise.
Annoying celebrity blogger Perez Hilton says he was assaulted by the manager of the Black Eyed Peas after Sunday’s ‘MuchMusic Video Awards.’ Will.i.am posted a video denying the accusations, but Perez posted his own 12-minute response video, and says Will.i.am is lying. Here, Perez says “violence is never the answer” and that he COULD have told Fergie to “sit on a stick” and impale herself, but that’s still no excuse for someone to attack him.
Actress Sarah Jessica Parker was pulled over by a state trooper for driving without her lights off on the Mercedes mini-van she was driving with her son James in the back seat. “She told the officer it was a brand-new car and she didn’t know how to turn them on.” According to the report, the officers showed her how to turn on the lights and let her go with a warning. Parker, through her rep, said, “The officer was patient and kind.”

With the end in site (tomorrow night) Stephen Baldwin bailed out of “I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!” over the weekend. It seems insect bites finally did him in. He says he received more than 125 bites in eight days. He also says the bites were so bad he had an extreme allergic reaction that caused him to lose sleep and 22 pounds.
Brad Pitt has some free time on his hands. He was set to go back to work this week when filming would have begun on a new baseball movie called “Moneyball”. Sony suddenly pulled the plug on the project when director Steven Soderbergh turned in a script that was reportedly far different from the one that had been approved.

Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst says the now reunited band had to take a break because he became disgusted with a certain segment of their fan base. He tells Rolling Stone: “I got abused a lot growing up. For years I looked into the (concert) crowd and saw a bunch of bullies and a*sholes who tortured me and ruined my life. They were using my music as fuel to torture other people, even dressing like me. The music was being misinterpreted and the irony affected me and we stepped away.”
Kid Rock has hooked up with producer Rick Rubin for his next album and he tells Billboard that “we won’t release anything until we both agree that every song on it is great.”
