LaToya Jackson says that Michael’s children, Paris, 11, Prince 12, and Blanket, 7, have turned to therapy to cope with their grief. She says she worries about Prince because he doesn’t want to talk about and that Paris thinks and talks about her dad all the time. “She writes a lot and wears his shirts ever day.” Michael’s youngest child, Blanket, “is just a very sad, shy little boy,” LaToya said. “He cries – he really does cry. It’s so painful for him. No one can bring his daddy back and it hurts so much.” LaToya says the whole family is rallying around to raise the kids the way Michael would have wanted. The children, who are home schooled, are said to watch no more than two hours of television a day, limited to the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. …
This sounds like a bit of a stretch, but actress Elizabeth Taylor says the new Michael Jackson documentary “This is It”, is “the single most brilliant piece of filmmaking” she has ever seen. The film opens worldwide tonight.
Rare Michael Jackson memorabilia will go on display in London tomorrow. It will include one of his Rolls-Royces, some of his trademark gloves and sequined jackets and a contract from his early days with the Jackson 5.
The district attorney in Santa Barbara is planning to have Randy Quaid and his wife extradited from Texas over that whole resort flap in which they allegedly skipped out on their bill. The pair was supposed to be in court yesterday to face the charges, but they didn’t show. They were also supposed to show last week, but didn’t.
Randy & Evi Quaid’s former private Investigator, Becky Altringer, was at the Santa Barbara court house yesterday and told radaronline.com that she doesn’t think the Quaids will ever come to face the music. Here’s where it gets weird. Altringer said: “I’ll tell you, what’s going through Evi’s mind right now is that this is all a setup, and that the mob is out to kill her and Randy. She’s thinking this is all a conspiracy and that I’m part of that conspiracy.”
ESPN has suspended Bob Griese for a week for a racist remark he made about NASCAR driver Juan Pablo Montoya. During a college football game Saturday, Griese made a remark about Montoya being “out having a taco.” Montoya is Colombian.
Two of New York city public schools’ menu just adopted a number of lunch time recipes created by TV chef, Rachael Ray. As many as 600,000 kids will nosh on meals such as sizzling soft tacos and Southwest roasted chicken and Ray’s own Southwest Yum-o! ranch sauce. The city schools’ food program is already considered one of the nation’s healthiest, but organizers hope the new dishes will teach kids that tasty and healthy can go hand in hand. New recipes will be introduced every month and the schools will post the recipes on their website so parents can fix them at home as well.
FOX still plans to air “Family Guy Presents: Seth and Alex’s Almost Live Comedy Show” on November 8 despite Microsoft yanking its sponsorship. It seems the company flipped out when they heard that the content included jokes about the Holocaust, the deaf, feminine hygiene and incest.
Kate Gosselin says her career goals include wanting to be in a movie . . . or voicing a cartoon movie character.
For the record, Jennifer Aniston is not planning to host a talk show. Her rep says a report that she’ll join the Oprah Winfrey Network is “absolutely false.”
Nothing has been confirmed, but word has it that “Saturday Night Live” is trying to work out a cameo by Kanye West when Taylor Swift hosts the show in November.

U2 frontman Bono has admitted that he has been disappointed by the lack of success of the band’s recent album “No Line On The Horizon.” It’s been out since March and has only moved 1 million copies. Not bad, but pretty bad for a U2 album. He also admits they failed with the singles. The first, “Get On Your Boots” peaked at number 12 on the UK singles chart and follow-up “I’ll Go Crazy If I Don’t Go Crazy Tonight” only reached number 32.
Jay-Z and Alicia Keys will perform their “Empire State of Mind” to help kick off the New York Yankees/Philadelphia Phillies World Series. The Yankees have been using the song during their playoff run.
Bruce Springsteen canceled a concert in Kansas City last night after his cousin was found dead in his hotel room. The cousin was his assistant tour manager. The circumstances are currently under investigation.

Smokey Robinson has been tapped give the keynote speech of the South By Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas next March. The 2010 line-up has yet to be announced.
