Nicole Richie has been hospitalized for pneumonia at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Her publicist Nicole Perna said Wednesday the 28-year-old actress was doing well. Richie was in a Los Angeles courtroom earlier this week after asking for a restraining order against two celebrity photographers. A judge granted that request. …

In a special interview with Robin Roberts, Janet Jackson talked about Michael’s death for the first time last night. She said that when she first found out he’d died, she couldn’t believe it. And she’s still having trouble coming to grips with it. She said that no one in her family knew that Michael Jackson was using Propofol to help him sleep and that he was in denial about his drug addiction.  She said she blames Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael’s personal physician, for his death. She said she hasn’t seen “This Is It”. “I definitely won’t, not right now,” she said. “I don’t know if I will ever see it.”

Paris Hilton says it was her boyfriend’s friends fighting in her driveway that caused cops to be scrambled to her home yesterday morning. She reveals: “Doug and I were in bed, sound asleep, when Doug’s houseguests from hell got into an argument. We had nothing to do with it. Doug told the LAPD that his guests’ fight was over and that we had nothing to do with it.” A neighbor tells a different story, saying he saw Hilton and Doug Reinhardt screaming at each other in the driveway and at one point Hilton shoved him.

Former Vice President candidate Sarah Palin’s poll numbers are through the roof. Monday’s Oprah Winfrey Show, featuring the first stop on Palin’s “Going Rogue “book tour, scored the daytime talk show’s highest ratings in two years.

Larry King’s 10-year-old son, Chance King, just landed a great TV job hosting a sports show on FOX Sports Net.  The show is called “Kid Pitch” and revolves around kids shooting the breeze about all things baseball … plus interviews with Major League Baseball players.  The show is set to start filming next February.

We’re guessing Martha Stewart is no fan of Rachael Ray. In a “Nightline” interview airing tonight, Stewart says Ray confessed to her that she “cannot bake,” adding that Ray “just did a new cookbook which is just a re-edit of a lot of her old recipes. … I mean, I really want to write a book that is a unique and lasting thing.” She describes Ray as “not good enough for me.”

In the December issue of Allure, Kirsten Dunst admits that she and ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal don’t exactly keep in touch. “It would be nice to see him,” she says. “But we’re not good friends.” Gyllenhaal has been in a relationship with Reese Witherspoon since early 2007.

“Grey’s Anatomy” is still No. 1 among DVR viewers. Each “Grey’s” episode has averaged an additional 2.9 million viewers. No. 2 is “The Mentalist,” followed by “House” and “CSI.”

The other members of Aerosmith are dropping not so subtle hints that frontman Steven Tyler is back on drugs. Joe Perry has been especially vocal, both in interviews and on Twitter, about his differences with Tyler. He and the others say Tyler has stopped communicating with them and they have decided to find a new frontman and continue without him. That decision was reversed, but apparently the idea is back on the table. “I suspect there’s a lot more going on than we know about,” Brad Whitford says. “He has a well-documented history of drug abuse, and I find myself very suspicious.”

Many of Michael Jackson’s most prized processions will go on the block Saturday in New York. One of his famous white gloves, a car driven by Jackson, David Bowie’s guitar and a slew of memorabilia from the Beatles to Bo Diddley will be auctioned.

Avril Lavigne is reportedly dating Lindsay Lohan’s ex-boyfriend — actor Wilmer Valderrama.

Jay-Z’s collaboration with Alicia Keys, “Empire State of Mind,” will take over the top spot on the singles chart when it is released today. 

Bon Jovi’s “The Circle” becomes the band’s fourth No. 1 album as it tops the chart being released today. Carrie Underwood’s “Play On,” slips to No. 3, while Andrea Bocelli’s “My Christmas” climbs from No. 3 to No. 2.

    It is pretty crazy just how big this story about Avril and Wilmer has gotten, and there is not a single photo of them even being together, and you know what I bet you they are not even seeing each other, if you disagree, try and prove me wrong if you can.
