Sandra Bullock stars in this true story movie about a family in Memphis who helps a kid in need.  She’s rich (her husband, Tim McGraw, owns a bunch of Taco Bells – yum!), and her family is very well off.  When a kid from the projects starts attending her kids’ school, she decides to take him in when he has nowhere else to go.

Turns out this kid has potential to play football, so Bullock’s family does everything in their power to make that happen.  From helping him with his grades to bringing him out of his shell, they truly change his life while he changes theirs.  The story is so incredible that it’s hard to believe at times that all of this really happened.

Bullock really stood out in this movie, but I gotta hand it to her little son.  He was the comic relief, and he scored big in my book!  His catch phrases and kind personality saved the movie from being just a drama.  This is definitely one of those feel good movies that will leave you cheering at the end.
