10 oz. package lasagna noodles, broken into bite-sized pieces, cooked
1 lb. ground beef, browned
1/2 lb. spicy italian sausage, sliced and browned
1 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
12 oz. mozzarella cheese, shredded
12 oz. cottage or ricotta cheese
16 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1-1/2 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. pepper
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1. Combine all ingredients in greased slow cooker.
2. Cover. Cook on low 7-9 hours or on high for 3-5 hours.
Variation: Replace mix of ground beef and sausage with 1-1/2 lbs. of ground beef.
