Conrad Murray received the maximum sentence . . . four years in prison . . .for administering a lethal dose of the anesthetic propofol to Michael Jackson in June of 2009. The judge said Murray, quote, “violated the trust of the medical community, of his colleagues and of his patient. And he has absolutely no sense of remorse.” (more…)

Just when you thought “Twilight” fans had a healthy grip on reality — TMZ has learned, lady Twihards are invading bridal boutiques, secretly lying about being engaged … so they can try on a replica of Bella’s wedding dress from the new flick. The $799 replica is being sold in Alfred Angelo bridal boutiques everywhere — and people who work at the chain tell us the scheming fans are driving them crazy, making it extremely difficult to conduct business. By the way, we really don’t think Twilight fans have a healthy grip on reality. (more…)

Lady Gaga’s 90-minute Thanksgiving special called “A Very Gaga Thanksgiving” aired on ABC Thursday night. The highlight was when she revealed Tony Bennett saw her naked, so he could draw pictures of her for an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair. (more…)

First of all, a big thank you to all of the Mix 100 listeners who gave and gave - and gave some more - to the Food Bank during our latest Charity Marathon. It was an incredible year.

Taylor Swift was the big winner on Sunday at the American Music Awards, walking away with three prizes including Artist of the Year, as well as best female artist and best album for “Speak Now” in the country music category.
Taylor Swift said when she gets dressed in the morning, she thinks about “a million people.” She said she’s a role model, and artists today have to realize that they’re raising the next generation, so they have to watch what they say. (more…)
