Saturday Night Live/NBC

Alec Baldwin made a surprise appearance on “Saturday Night Live” showing up during the “Weekend Update with Seth Meyers,” portion of the show.  Baldwin, dressed in a pilot’s uniform and calling himself Captain Steve Rogers, issued Baldwin a heartfelt apology for kicking him off an American Airlines flight last week.  “It was awful, Seth,” he told Meyers, “which is why it was very important for me to come here tonight and on behalf of everyone at American Airlines issue an apology to Mr. Alec Baldwin.”

Bob Costas makes a crack about Faith Hill’s intro to “Sunday Night Football,” where he said she, “Once again opts to watch the game from somewhere in front of the Washington Monument.”

Justin Bieber filmed a promotional video for his new fragrance ‘Someday,’ where he addresses the fathers of young girls . . . and basically tells them that it’s better for their daughters to obsess over him than to be making any moves on local boys.

More than 100 Occupy Wall Street demonstrators stormed the set built for an episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” across from the Manhattan State Supreme Courthouse on Thursday.  The activity shut down the shoot and the city then revoked the permits needed to continue filming.  Protesters were angered at being used as part of corporate TV America. “This is bastardization going on. This is not the case of imitation is a form of flattery,” said a man identified as Scooby 49.  “This is insulting.” “It’s hysterical,” said another.  “Two weeks ago they kicked us out of Zuccotti Park.  Now they have this set trying to pretend it’s us. It’s odd.”

George Clooney and Sony Pictures have signed a deal to create a movie about the story of 1960’s comedians Tom and Dicky Smothers.  The movie will be based on the book by David Bianculli, called, “Dangerously Funny: The Uncensored Story Of The smothers Brothers Comedy Hour.” The Smothers Brothers TV Show ran from 1967-69 on CBS.  The brothers squabbled on and off screen and went from squeaky clean comics to counterculture troublemakers.  They were aided by a writing staff that included Steve Martin, and Rob Reiner.  They were ultimately fired from CBS for their political views.

“X-Factor”
contestant Rachel Crow has landed on her soft cat paws…. Disney bigshots are already tripping all over themselves trying to sign the 13 year old star who was eliminated from the show last week.  Reportedly Disney is interested in a number of things for Rachael including TV, movies, and radio.

Lindsay Lohan got her purse stolen Saturday night while she was vacationing in Hawaii.  Her purse had all her ID, credit cards, her passport, probation paperwork and a ton of cash. Lindsay was reportedly at a party and forgot her $5,000 Chanel purse in the car.  When she returned, the purse was gone. Early Sunday morning, the purse was found by a local, who denied knowing anything about where the purse had been.  Everything was still in the purse, ID, credit cards, passport…except the $10,000 in cash…in cash!  (Try Traveler’s Checks Lindsey!) It’s being reported that Lindsey was so happy to get the purse back, she didn’t bother asking about the ten grand.
