The Kardashians made Barbara Walters‘ list this year. She asked them why they’re famous, and they explained that even though they don’t have any talents, they’re still entertaining.
Khloe Kardashian’s brother, “Dancing With The Stars” competitor, Rob Kardashian, is moving with his big sister and her hubby, Lamar Odom from Los Angeles to Dallas, Texas. Lamar will be traveling a lot while playing for the Mavericks and Rob will be helping Khloe with the move and filming the show. Also joining in with the move to Dallas will be Khloe’s best friends, Malika and Khadijah Haqq. Lamar says that there was a team meeting and it was voted that Khloe is the official favorite Kardashian of the Dallas Mavericks.
Kim Kardashian just dropped $65k for 3 unbelievable jade and diamond bracelets that used to belong to Elizabeth Taylor. Taylor’s entire collection of rare and expensive jewelry was auctioned off in NYC this week for a total of $116 million dollars. Kim, a big Elizabeth Taylor fan, is not in possession of the jewelry yet … but she’s expected to get ‘em sometime in the next few days.
Here comes another family dynasty…Clint Eastwood’s wife and daughters are getting their own family reality show that looks to be aired on the E! network. The show explores what it’s like to live in a family of “Hollywood Royalty” and will focus on the relationship between Clint’s wife Dina Eastwood, their daughter Morgan and Clint’s 18-year-old daughter Francesca. Clint will make a couple of cameos but will not be a main character on the show. The show is being produced by the same people who produce all of the Kardashian reality shows. Look for it to debut in just a couple months.
Jessica Simpson just signed a major deal with Weight Watchers to be their spokesperson after she gives birth to her baby and tries to get back into shape. The deal is said to be worth $3 million dollars. While Weight Watchers would like to help Jessica get back into her “Dukes of Hazzard” bod, the singer just wants to lose the baby weight. Jessica plans to wed her fiance, Eric Johnson, after having the baby, which could be another motivation for her to get her body back.
Lindsay Lohan was in court yesterday for a progress report, and got high marks from Judge Stephanie Sautner. Sautner told her, quote, “You’re doing well. I’d like to see it continue.”
Michael Jackson’s daughter Paris is on “Ellen” today. She says even SHE thought it was weird when Michael used to make them wear masks in public. She also said that Michael talked to her about death, and said that if he ever died, she should remember everything he taught her.
Conan O’Brien talked about a survey that says most employees would rather get a bonus than go to an office holiday party. Conan joked that he’ll see all of his employees at the party.
Jimmy Kimmel talked about how Ryan Seacrest’s birthday is on December 24th, and said he has the “worst luck” because his birthday is combined with Christmas. Jimmy said this year we should all honor the “birth of the baby Seacrest.”
Actress and political activist, Jane Fonda is joining the cast of a new hour long HBO series. The still-untitled hour-long drama, which is being unofficially referred to as Newsroom, is set behind the scenes at a fictional cable news network and centers on an anchor (Jeff Daniels), his new executive producer, his newsroom staff and their boss (Law & Order‘s Sam Waterston). Fonda will play Leona Lansing, the CEO of cable news network’s parent company.
Melissa Rycroft and Jennie Garth are each getting their own reality shows on CMT. Rycroft will star with her husband Tye Strickland in “Melissa and Tye: A New Reality” … The show will follow Rycroft moving to Los Angeles to pursue her Hollywood career while managing a long-distance relationship with her husband.
Jennie Garth, who is married with three kids, is moving with her family from Los Angeles to a seven-acre farm in Central California. The title is “I Love Jennie”. Both shows will premiere in April.
CBS, Fox, NBC have officially extend their NFL deals through 2022. PLUS… Starting next season, NBC will broadcast a Thanksgiving primetime game for the first time.
“The Bachelor” Ben F. says that the reason he didn’t have a second date with Jennifer Love Hewitt several months ago, was because he was in the middle of negotiations with the reality show and wanted it to work, so he knew he had to be unencumbered. Talking with Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday, Ben says he’s been practicing breaking up with beautiful women. In the past, he’s always broken up with women using “the slow fizzle” method…which is “where you just stop calling.”
Reality star Richard Hatch, who was freed this week from prison on a tax evasion sentence tied to his $1 million “Survivor” winnings, said Tuesday that he is hoping for a new reality show about his relationship with the children conceived from his sperm donations. Evidently a number of children he didn’t know about came forward and visited him while he was in jail. He wants to do the show as a way to help the public understand the relationships between offspring and donors.
Justin Bieber was pulled over by the LAPD Wednesday after officers say he performed an illegal maneuver (an unsafe left turn) in his tricked out new car. Justin was let off with a warning after he promised to be more careful in the future. This ain’t the first time Bieber has been stopped by cops while driving the customized Cadillac, he was pulled over back in October after cutting off a CHP officer. He got a warning that time, too.
Matthew McConaughey has shaved off all his hair….He appeared in Beverly Hills on Tuesday wearing a T-shirt, baseball cap and totally bald head!
