The Jane Report

MTV asked Justin Bieber for his top five tips on how to be a good boyfriend. He came up with them on the fly and said be honest, have patience, be willing to forgive them, have fun, and be faithful.

Jessica Sanchez wowed the judges again last night on “American Idol”. This time the song was “Stuttering” by Jazmine Sullivan. Randy actually seemed ANGRY that Jessica Sanchez was voted off. He told people to “vote for the best,” and called Jessica “one of the best singers in America.”

According to Frances Bean Cobain, her mother, Courtney Love, is a delusional liar and should be banned from Twitter forever!  Love tweeted that Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl hit on Frances during a recent encounter. Frances Bean states, “While I’m generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way.” She adds, “I’m in a monogamous relationship and very happy. Twitter should ban my mother.” Grohl also weighed in saying, “Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue.”

Jimmy Kimmel talked about Axl Rose saying he doesn’t want to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. He joked that Axl is busy that weekend being inducted into the “Kilt & Bandana Hall of Fame.” Then he said Axl’s dad Pete Rose isn’t in the hall of fame either.

Love takes time to heal — just ask Scarlett Johansson.  Although the “Avengers” actress, 27, has dated other men after her late 2010 divorce from Ryan Reynolds – including Sean Penn and, currently, NYC ad exec Nate Naylor — the stunning star tells the May issue of “Vogue” that she’s still hurting from the end of her two-year marriage. Johansson calls the breakup “comically amicable,” but clarifies that it was still “horrible . . . Of course it’s horrible. It was devastating. It really throws you. You think that your life is going to be one way, and then, for various reasons or whatever, it doesn’t work out.” She muses that divorce is “like the loneliest thing you’ll ever do, in some way.” And while Johansson says she now feels “relative peace,” she confides to “Vogue” that the split from “Safe House” star Reynolds, 35, who has rebounded with Blake Lively, still gives her grief. “I don’t feel on the other side of it completely, but it gets better,” she says. “It’s still there. More than anything, it’s just that not having your buddy around all the time is weird. There’s no rule book. I think it’s just time.”

Screenplay writer, Joe Eszterhas, says he has tapes of Mel Gibson ranting, proving he said horrible things about John Lennon, Oksana Grigorieva and the Jewish faith. Joe says the recordings were made in Costa Rica by his son Nick.  (Joe would not say if the alleged comment about John Lennon — “I’m glad he’s dead. He deserved to be shot,” or the comment about Oksana Grigorieva, “I want to f**k her in the ass and stab her while I’m doing it,” or the comment about William Morris/Endeavor Chairman Ari Emanuel, “He’s a C**t Jewboy,” were all on the tape.) Joe also says people who allegedly witnessed Mel’s rants are willing to come forward. Eszterhaus then says that Gibson is a jew hater and needs help badly.

Morgan Freeman wants everyone to know he has NEVER had a romantic relationship with his 27-year-old step-granddaughter E’Dena Hines … and calls the stories about them getting married “defamatory fabrications.”  The reports have been circulating for some time and Freeman hasn’t wanted to dignify them with an answer, but now he’s had it. He says the stories are just designed to sell papers and that he’s upset that even the mainstream media is starting to repeat the lies.  E’Dena has also issued a statement … saying, “These stories about me and my grandfather are not only untrue, they are also hurtful to me and my family.”  E’Dena is the granddaughter of Morgan’s first wife, Jeanette Adair Bradshaw. She and Morgan are not related by blood.

“House” actress Lisa Edelstein has posed nude in the latest PETA ad campaign. The 44-year-old actress, who played Dr. Lisa Cuddy on the show, is seen going nude while laying on a bed of curly kale and other leafy greens in the shot. The picture, which features the slogan ‘Eat Green To Go Green’, shows off Lisa’s figure, which she credits to not eating meat since she was 15. ‘At some point, I had a dream that I was eating chicken. But in the dream, I understood that it was actually miniature human legs and arms. My brain was connecting muscle and bone to another animal. Once I had made that connection, it just wasn’t something I wanted to eat.’

Entertainment One has teamed with the Estate of Marilyn Monroe to develop and produce “Finding Marilyn”, a competition reality series that will emulate Monroe’s journey to stardom by featuring twelve young girls as they travel to Los Angeles to compete for a chance to become the next Hollywood “it” girl. No premiere date is announced but the project may be tied to the 50th anniversary of Monroe’s death in August.

Jon Gosselin seems to be behind on his child support payments again. The former “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ reality star dad has eight children that he is required to support by law in Pennsylavnia, but he’s behind by $3,600. Since ending her reality show Kate has been working as a blogger for CouponCabin.com while Jon has been working in construction to support their children. Their relationship continues to be angry with both slamming each other on Twitter.

Kate Major has called the cops on Michael Lohan (again) claiming he violated his restraining order. Of course, Lohan says it’s all baloney.  Major, in Delray Beach, Florida, says Lohan showed up at her hair salon appointment and started banging on the glass windows. Lohan says he didn’t violate any orders because Kate invited him to the salon in the first place in order to ask him for money. The really big deal is that the two have been secretly living together for some time now.  No decision has been made yet as to if charges will be filed or not in the case.

Former Detroit Lions star Alex Karras says he currently suffers from dementia … and blames the NFL for not properly protecting him from concussions during his pro football playing days. Karras, who also starred in “Webster”,  has joined hundreds of ex-NFL players in a lawsuit that seeks medical monitoring, cognitive health benefits as well as financial compensation for the damage suffered as a result of brain injuries. Karras’ wife says Alex’s dementia
prevents him from doing everyday activities such as driving, cooking, sports fishing, reading books and going to big events or traveling.”   What Alex wants is for the game of football to be made safer and allow players and their
families to enjoy a healthier, happier retirement, she says.
