A new study found that the Black Eyed Peas song, “I Gotta Feeling” is now the most popular song to be played at weddings. To come up with a Top 20, the “researchers” looked at 78,000 wedding playlists on Spotify. In general, they found that couples wanted more modern “party” songs, and fewer traditional, quieter love songs. Read the full list here. Note: The study was conducted in the U.K., but it doesn’t have too many strange “overly British” songs, so we thought it could translate to American weddings as well.

Buying a souvenir T-shirt at a Lady Gaga concert is so five minutes ago.  Gaga is offering her fans much more creative merchandise during her upcoming Born This Way Ball, which kicks off this Friday in Seoul, South Korea.  So far, she’s revealed one of the new items on Twitter: meat bandages. Gaga tweeted, “Monsters, want to see one merch item from the Tour? Its 1 of the small cute ones, but I’m up late+there’s no one around to stop me :) #teehee.”  She then posted a picture of a metal box of “Lady Gaga Meat Bandages.”The aqua-colored box looks just like a regular box of Band-Aids, but is decorated with a cute anime girl wearing the infamous “meat dress” Gaga wore to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.  There’s also a picture on the box of the Band-Aids inside, which are shaped like regular Band-Aids, but are decorated to look just like pieces of raw meat.”Just in case you fall and scrape your monster knee! I’ll be there :),” Gaga added as a caption to the photo.  “l love you, you bandage me up when I need it! Xox.”

The Lifetime Channel has signed Lindsay Lohan to portray Elizabeth Taylor in “Liz & Dick”. The film chronicles the love of the two mega stars Liz and Richard Burton, whose fiery romance was the most notorious, publicized and celebrated love affair of its day.  After a tumultuous year which included home detention and court-mandated community service Lohan returned to acting last month hosting Saturday Night Live.  Her appearance drew big ratings and helped her solidify her role in the movie.

Rosie O’Donnell has taken a loss on her five-bedroom, 6,000-square-foot Lakeview house, in Chicago, selling it earlier this month for $2.103 million, or $147,000 less than she had paid for it last fall. The buyer is a personal injury attorney. Last fall, O’Donnell paid $2.25 million to buy the house from Erik Logan,  the president of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. O’Donnell lived in the house for a time, but moved out and into a corporate apartment because she started commuting back to her New York home, rather than having her family move to where she was. Features in the house include five full baths, two half baths, 11-foot ceilings, custom cabinetry, a home theater, a sports bar, a 2,000-square-foot roof deck, a three-car heated garage and an outdoor space with
patios.

Now that painter Thomas Kinkade has passed, there’s a fight brewing between his estranged wife, Nanette and Kinkade’s new live in girlfriend, Amy Pinto-Walsh. Documents filed by the Kinkade Family Trust attempt to prevent the girlfriend from making statements or engaging in conduct that would reflect negatively on Kinkade. They also prevent her from disclosing information on the Kinkade business. The artist’s wife is a trustee and executor of the Kinkade Family Trust and the artist’s estate. While his family attributed his untimely death at age 54 to natural causes, Kinkade’s brother said in a report earlier this month that the artist had relapsed into alcoholism in the weeks prior to his death. A judge is scheduled to hear the matter today.

Poor Jennifer Hudson dissolved into tears as she testified at the trial of William Balfour the man accused of murdering her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew. So if I saw him, I separated myself.”   Julia Hudson took the stand afterward and testified that Balfour said “all the time” that he would kill her if she ever left him.
