A judge came down hard on Dennis Rodman on Tuesday. An Orange County judge held the former basketball star in contempt for getting behind almost a million dollars in unpaid child support for his 9- and 10-year-old children and an additional $51,441 in unpaid spousal support. Rodman was placed on 3 years probation and ordered to perform 104 hours of community service. While on probation, Rodman is required to stay current with child support and cover alimony.  Dennis has argued saying he couldn’t pay because he’s broke. According to Dennis, Michelle’s [his ex-wife] six-figure child support bill is based on a $50,000-a-month child support order she obtained behind his back. Rodman’s been fighting it since 2010. 2012chevyvolt

The idea of an electric car has been floating around for a long, long time, and for the most part I think people are fond of the idea. But, are they happy with the actual vehicle itself?

It’s come out that the new “American Idol“, Phillip Phillips, had a series of eight operations during the course of the show. Phillips, who suffers with chronic kidney problems, had contemplated leaving the show several times. His proud dad, also named Phillip Phillips, says the viewers only got a glimpse of what his son can do and can’t wait for him to get back to feeling 100%. Phillip is expected to have a full recovery after an operation next week to reconstruct his kidneys. He says he’ll be back to himself in time for the Idols Live tour. scotty

In this week’s edition we find out which insect bite or sting is the most painful. Turns out that it’s a little dude from South America who adds insult to injury by actually shrieking at you while they attack.

We all loved Scotty from the original Star Trek, right? Remember that time that he got hold of the Saurian brandy and started to…wait, never mind. We received news this week that the actor who played Scotty (James Doohan) finally got into space…seven years after his death. And the same thing could happen to you.

Plus, as if you needed another reason to hate your alarm clock, researchers say that it might be making you fat.

Those stories and more are patiently waiting for you right here. It’s time to get your nerd on!

Anderson Cooper had Sarah Burge on his show yesterday. She’s known as the ‘Human Barbie’ for having the record for most plastic surgeries. She also gives her 8 year old daughter vouchers for plastic surgery as presents, and wanted to give her daughter Botox so she’d sweat less in beauty pageants. Burge was explaining herself, but Anderson stopped her . . . and kicked her off the show. Sarah’s explanation was that you don’t see Beyoncé sweating onstage, and she wanted to oversee her daughter getting Botox. Anderson said he had “nothing more to talk to [her] about” . . . called her “dreadful” . . . then kicked her off the show. (more…)
