Hey “The Bachelor” fans…do you remember last season’s “winner” Courtney Robertson? She was picked by Bachelor, Ben Flajnik…she was such an evil force on the show, but Ben seemed to be such a douche, nobody really cared…anyway…she’s planning on writing an “explosive” tell all. Courtney says her portrayal as a villain on the show was not fair and she wants to set the record straight. Reportedly, Courtney plans to expose some of the show’s biggest secrets from late night calls from producers telling her exactly how to act and respond, to calls from the production company to talk about her appearing on “Bachelor Pad”, “Dancing With the Stars”, and “The Bachelorette”. She will definitely talk about Ben and their relationship.
Regis Philbin is in talks to join “Today” and could replace Hoda Kotb if she becomes Matt Lauer’s co-host on the morning talk show. Kotb is the frontrunner to replace Ann Curry on “Today”, which has recently become vulnerable in the ratings to rival Good Morning America. Philbin, 80, co-hosted the fourth hour of Today with Kathie Lee Gifford last week, and the executives at NBC absolutely loved him. Philbin admitted that he missed being on TV.
Conan O’Brien sat down for a rare interview with Piers Morgan last night. Conan talked about struggling with insecurity, even after he became hugely successful. He says he deals with it every day, and jokes that he wasn’t sure they would let him into the building to do the interview.
Charlie Sheen sat down with Jimmy Fallon last night to promote his new show “Anger Management”. While he was there Jimmy got him to talk a little about “winning.” Charlie says he lost his job, his money, his children and his mind. What exactly he thought he was winning, he couldn’t say. Charlie Sheen was also on “Good Morning America” yesterday, talking about life after rehab. He says he doesn’t do drugs anymore but he still drinks . . . because everybody else is doing it.
Mike Tyson talked about how he faces shame with his new Broadway show. He said it’s “pretty embarrassing,” but he has to “embrace [his] shame and embarrassment.”
Season 4 of “Glee” will feature Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker who will play mentors to Rachel and Kurt, respectively, as they embark on their new lives in New York City. Hudson will play Rachel’s dance instructor at NYADA and they won’t get along. Kurt will still not be heading to NYADA but he’ll head to the Big Apple anyway where he will meet the character played by Sarah Jessica Parker. Kurt, in lieu of studying acting will veer into the fashion business.
Comedy Central will be roasting comedianne, Roseanne Barr. The “Comedy Central Roast Of Roseanne” will tape in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 4th with the show airing on Sunday, August 12th. When asked about the Roast, Roseanne remarked, “All I can say is good luck finding anything about me to make fun of… I mean, I’ve never made a mistake or offended anyone in my life!”
Conan O’Brien commented on the reports that Madonna has cleaning crews to come behind her and remove all traces of her DNA from her dressing rooms. He says it confirms what he knew all along . . . that she’s a serial killer.
Actress Jenny McCarthy, who got her big break on the pages of Playboy 1993 when she was Playmate of the Year, is back celebrating her 20 year anniversary of the magazine. It’s the sixth cover appearance and seventh pictorial for the 39-year-old actress, who currently hosts NBC’s reality show, “Love in the Wild.” The issue also features interviews with Charlie Sheen, director Wes Anderson and “SNL” alum Andy Samberg.
Connecticut police have ruled that actor, Dylan McDermott’s mother was murdered by her now-dead gangster boyfriend in 1967. Waterbury police said they’ve discovered enough evidence to file murder charges against John Sponza in the death of Diane McDermott. As for Sponza, his body was discovered shot to death in the trunk of a car back in 1972. Sponza, who lived with the McDermotts at the time, had told police that Diane accidentally shot herself after picking up a gun he had been cleaning. McDermott was 5 when his mother died and remembers the man flashing guns about and pointing it at him saying ‘Shut up and get out of here.’ While the actor made no comment about the ruling, his sister, said she is relieved by the findings, saying, “I’m happy to know my mother wasn’t mentally ill or depressed. Somebody took her from us; she didn’t leave us.”
A former Royal Caribbean cruise room attendant has accused John Travolta, in a federal lawsuit, of slipping off his robe and pushing against him, then offering him $12,000 to keep quiet. Fabian Zanzi alleges the actor said, “Take me, I will take care of you, please,” during a food delivery to his cabin in June 2009. The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on June 21st. This is the latest legal action against Travolta filed by a man alleging improper sexual conduct. Travolta’s attorney has fiercely denied all the allegations.
The third anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death was June 25, 2009 and yesterday, fans sent over $30,000 worth of red roses to his final resting place at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The money for the memorial project came as donations from fans all over the world. The roses won’t go to waste. Over half will be sent to senior centers and hospitals in the area.
Soulja Boy has finally admitted that he was driving when his red Bentley got into a car accident Saturday night in Hollywood. He still insists, however, that the accident wasn’t his fault…and he claims that the other driver was a racist saying she accused him of driving a stolen car. He laid out the entire story on YouTube, however, the other driver’s husband claims Soulja ran the double line and smashed into their car. The accident is still under investigation.
We love you Biebs, but know you’ve spent more time memorizing lyrics than studying. David Letterman was teasing Justin about his latest tattoo, urging him to draw the line at creating a mural like “the Sistine Chapel,” when the Biebs responded, “I’m not going for the Sixteenth Chapel.” In response, with a deadpan look, Letterman responded, more to the audience than to Bieber, “Canadian high school!” Poor Justin never got the joke.
“The Hangover” star Zach Galifianakis has proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Mary Quinn Lundberg and she accepted. Evidently, the couple isn’t waiting around either. They have set the wedding date for August 11th. Their “save the date” cards included a cartoon that Zach drew himself, creating a troll in his image and a princess in hers. Lundberg, a trained dancer, is VP and co-founder of Growing Voices, a charity that is currently working with Cambodian “low priority villages” to clear land mines.

Network is giving Tim Tebow his own Entertainment Special called, “Tim Tebow’s Wild Rise.” His success on the football field, coupled with his religious devotion and charm, have made Tebow a beloved and controversial figure. E! talked with Tebow’s close friends, former high school and college football coaches, sports journalists and pop culture experts who have followed his career. The E! Entertainment Special: Tim Tebow’s Wild Rise premieres on July 2nd at 8:00pm on E!
Jon Hamm and his girlfriend, Jennifer Westfeldt, were robbed when they were visiting London earlier this month. According to Life and Style magazine, Jennifer’s purse was taken by someone who took the hotel key and then went to their suite and cleaned it out. The crime is still under investigation.
