Actors Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman are separating after 30 years of marriage. The couple married back in 1982 and have 3 children together. DeVito (5′0″) and Perlman (5′1″) met in 1970 when Rhea went to see an off-Broadway play, The Shrinking Bride … which featured Danny. The two began dating soon after and lived together for 11 years before getting married.
Oh man, I thought we were done with this chick…. Former “American Idol” and “X Factor” judge Paula Abdul will be a guest judge on “Dancing With The Stars: All Stars” on Monday. Abdul has certainly rode the wave, starting her dancing career as a Los Angeles Lakers cheerleader. “Dance has always been my first love and ‘Dancing With the Stars’ epitomizes what dance can do to the human spirit and that’s why I love the show. It’s a marriage made in dancing heaven,” she says.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno. He talked about how he’d react if the tables were turned, and it was Maria Shriver who cheated on him. He said he’d react the exact same way that she’s reacting, and he knows that she didn’t deserve the “pain [he] inflicted upon her.”
Maria Shriver was spotted wearing her WEDDING RING during a trip to the salon over the weekend. Is she thinking about taking Arnold Schwarzenegger back? There’s no word yet.
In case you missed “Mythbusters” on Sunday, the guys decided that Jack and Rose could both have survived the ending of “Titanic”. Too bad for James Cameron . . . a few weeks ago he predicted the opposite. Last month James Cameron said in an interview that Jack and Rose could NOT both have survived on the same raft. The “Mythbusters” experiment didn’t exactly prove him wrong. They tied their one life jacket underneath the raft, to give it more buoyancy and keep it balanced.
LeAnn Rimes was forced to cancel the first show on her tour Friday in Wendover, Nev., due to a “massive infection” that sent her to the emergency room. She did manage to perform as planned on Saturday for two fundraisers, benefiting the Autry Museum and the Living Free Animal Sanctuary. Rimes saysshe’s been living in a dental nightmare for 10 months and has been in extreme pain. “Let’s just pray I’m on the mend. I’ll see you all on the road very soon, she wrote.”
Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt has broken her wrist after taking a hit during a boxing session. In order to get in shape for season two of her show “The Client List” Love has taken to the ring. However, this session left her in agony. Hewitt revealed news of her injury to fans on Twitter.com on Saturday although she did not go into detail about exactly how she suffered the broken bone. She tweeted, “Guess who broke her wrist yesterday boxing to get fit for season two! I will be spending the weekend resting in my pjs.”
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are apparently back together. Which should make promoting “Twilight: Breaking Dawn - Part 2″ together a little easier. But what if they break up again? Or what if the tabloids got it wrong and they never really got back together in the first place? Well, if that happens, they’re STUCK TOGETHER. Legally. It’s in their contracts. A source says, quote, “Their individual contracts have very specific language about what is legally required of Rob and Kristen to do on the publicity tour. “The studio execs at Summit weren’t happy when Rob and Kristen broke up, but this is why there are clauses about what is required of the stars to do.” The movie opens November 16th.
Friends of Alex Karras say the former Lions great suffered kidney failure in the last two weeks and has been given only a few days to live. The 77-year-old Karras has suffered from a variety of health problems in recent years, including dementia and cancer, and is part of the mass concussion lawsuit more than 3,000 former players have filed against the NFL. Karras was released from Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, Calif., over the weekend and is currently at his California home on hospice care. Karras played defensive tackle for the Lions from 1958-70 and followed with a successful acting career and as an announcer during the early years of Monday Night Football.
Jack Osborne was married over the weekend to the mother of his daughter, Lisa Stelly. The couple tied the knot in an intimate Hawaiian ceremony on Sunday. The couple first began dating in April 2011. After Osbourne’s shocking MS diagnosis earlier this summer, Stelly remained to being committed to standing by her man, and helping him cope with the disease.
Paramedics rushed to the Los Angeles home of Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson this past week after her 2-year-old son mysteriously passed out. The 911 call came from Kendra’s home Wednesday around 5pm. Hank Baskett IV was just coming to when the emergency crew arrived. Her son was transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention, and released shortly after. According to sources, the doctor told Kendra her son had suffered loss of consciousness due to overheating … from running around the house … and it’s pretty common in children, especially in hot weather. Little Hank has totally recovered and is now just fine.
Actress, Judith Light is joining the second season of “Dallas.” She will play a headstrong authority figure who will fight to the death to protect the people she loves. And for the people she loves, she uses every psychological trick in the book to make them do what she wants. The second season of Dallas is set to premiere on January 28th.
Celebrity lawyer, Gloria Allred says she got the Presidential seal of approval on Sunday. Allred was at the Barack Obama fundraiser at the Nokia Theater in L.A. and on her way out of the event, she told anyone who would listen that she had a moment with Obama. Gloria says the president “indicated that he was very aware of the work I did,” and then said to people around them, “She’s one of the best attorneys in our country.”
