The Jane Report

It looks like Bobbi Kristina will get her inheritance just like her mother Whitney Houston wanted. Whitney’s mom and grandmother had contested the will and thought that Kristina would be getting big money, way too young. The case was dismissed after the parties came to an agreement. Apparently, the new deal is almost identical to the way Whitney had planned it. Bobbi Kristina will get 10% when she turns 21, around $2 million, then a little less than 20% when she turns 25, or around $4 million, and the rest, around $16 million, when she turns 30.

Katie Couric got up close and personal last night with Taylor Swift and Leann Rimes, on a special episode of “20/20″.  Taylor talked about how she records ideas for new songs on the go.  She goes in the corner of the room and sings into her cell phone.  Most of it comes out nonsense, and she says you DON’T want to hear the recordings.  But she gets enough of the idea down so that she can work it out later.

Taylor talked about where she thinks she’ll be in ten years.  She wants to either have a family, or know when she’ll have one.  And she doesn’t want to stick around too long in music.  If people get tired of her, she’ll start writing songs for other people.

Leann Rimes talked with Katie about why she went to therapy this summer.  She never got to be a kid, because she grew up as a performer.

Normally we don’t go too crazy over Twitter hoaxes, but this one could end with your daughter shaving her head bald so you’ll probably want to head it off quick.  Last week, a hoax started spreading around that Justin Bieber has been diagnosed with CANCER and asked his fans to shave their heads in solidarity.  There was even a #BaldForBieber hashtag.  It’s not true, obviously.

By the way, the REAL Justin Bieber showed off two new possessions on Instagram.  He now has a HAMSTER named Pac and a tattoo of an OWL on his arm.

Mila Kunis is either pregnant or should’ve known better than to wear a horizontally-striped shirt after eating a big lunch.  On Saturday afternoon, paparazzi took some photos of Mila and Ashton Kutcher out walking around and Mila looks like she’s got a belly.  And so, of course, everyone immediately jumped on the “Could she be pregnant?” train.  We’re a little more skeptical.  On October 19th, Mila was photographed out wearing a shirt that showed her stomach and it looks completely flat.  Would such a significant baby bump appear in just eight days?  We’re going with the “she ate a big lunch and wearing horizontal stripes” theory.

Jennifer Aniston and her fiancee Justin Theroux attended the LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala Honoring Ed Ruscha and Stanley Kubrick Saturday night in Los Angeles. They hung out with pals and new parents Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman.

Last week, we heard that some dude spent two years trying to get Billy Idol to perform at his birthday party. Well, the show went down on Friday, and there’s video on YouTube.

The group Emblem3, who have Simon Cowell for their mentor on “The X Factor” got to partying so hard in their hotel, that they’ve been threatened with eviction.  Several other of The X Factor singers were also at the party. Several guests at the hotel complained about the noise but producers intervened before security could give them the boot.  They also got a stern talking-to. “All the partying Emblem3 is doing is distracting the other contestants and they’ve been warned to behave.”

Bravo is currently developing a scripted series based on the 1980s Coke vs. Pepsi advertising wars. According to Deadline, “The untitled workplace drama is set in New York at the height of the Cola Wars in the 1980s, in which soda giants Coca Cola and Pepsi went after each other in their ad campaigns.”

Usher paid $12,000 for a female goldendoodle puppy Thursday at the Pencils of Promise Gala in New York City.  “It took me 2 years but I outbid everyone this year to bring Poppy home to Ush” he tweeted. Word is that the puppy will be named Poppy, but the singer says there are a 3 and 4 year old at home that will have the last say. Funds raised at the Gala benefited Pencils of Promise, a charity that builds schools in Laos, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Ghana.

Rebecca Romjin will play one half of the private investigator team in “King and Maxwell”, a TNT pilot from NCIS: LA executive producer, Shane Brennan. Romjin will play Michelle Maxwell, a former secret services agent who investigates politically sensitive cases along with her partner, Sean King.

Jack Wagner, who played Peter Burns on “Melrose Place” and had soap fans swooning on “General Hospital” and “The Bold and the Beautiful”, has been cast on an upcoming episode of ABC’s “Castle”. In a January episode titled “Significant Others,” Wagner will play former pro golfer Billy Piper whose career went down in flames amidst a nasty divorce scandal. But unlike the Tiger Woods saga, which it is loosely based, Piper’s ex ended up dead, along with a prominent divorce attorney!

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin says he admires the feat that Felix Baumgartner accomplished by leaping from space, but says he’s done visiting the Final Frontier. Aldrin referred to Baumgartner’s record-setting jump as “One giant leap for Red Bull.” The 82-year-old said he’s hung up his moon boots for good.

Lil Wayne is reportedly doing well after two in-flight medical emergencies grounded two planes he was flying on. The rapper tweeted fans to thank them for their support after experiencing seizure-like symptoms and being hospitalized two days in a row. “Thanx for all the prayers! I am good,” writes the rapper. Wayne’s people have denied that he experienced seizures, instead saying he was suffering from migraines and dehydration.
