Jimmy Kimmel was on last night with some jokes about voting.  It’s not just a right, it’s a few hours off from work.  And if they give you a cookie instead of a sticker, you didn’t vote you gave blood.

There’s no price specified for each item of furniture, but to give you a hint, only nine of the “Art Deco ocean liner of a bed” will be made, each in a different material.

Marlee Matlin is not happy about the sketch “Saturday Night Live” used to open their show last week.    The sketch included two over-enthusiastic signers in a which mocked Mayor Bloomberg’s Hurricane Sandy press conferences and his interpreter Lydia Callis, who has become a viral hit. Matlin - who is legally deaf - called the bit “childish and insulting”.  Matlin says she doesn’t mind when people poke fun at her, but as a language that millions use, it was
insulting and wonders if they would do the same with the Spanish language or Japanese? Matlin says deaf people HAVE a sense of humor, but faking signs that we use isn’t the same. ‘That stuff was just dumb.’

Terry Bradshaw is “really upset” he’s being accused of racism after comparing a Reggie Bush Touch Down run to someone chasing a “bucket of chicken” .  Unfortunately for viewers, the comment was an inside joke because Jimmy Johnson is a freak for fried chicken! Reportedly, it’s a Sunday tradition for Johnson to order a bucket of KFC after they wrap the pregame show — and yesterday was no exception. Bradshaw says Johnson “won’t share it with anybody” … and everyone on set gives him grief about it. Bradshaw says he’s having a hard time with the haters because that’s not him saying “I never put those two things together because I don’t think like that.” Johnson is sure there was no racist intent and added, “I love fried chicken. A lot of people love fried chicken, so what’s the big deal?”

Actor Peter Gallagher (Covert Affairs, The O.C.) will guest star as the cocky and aloof Professor Vinick who taught Ted architecture during his time at Wesleyan University on “How I Met Your Mother”.
