“Homeland” star, Claire Danes and husband, Hugh Dancy welcomed their first child…a son named Cyrus Michael Christopher Dancy on Monday. Danes, who won an Emmy in September for her role as bipolar CIA-agent Carrie Matheson on the hit Showtime drama, wed Dancy, 37, in a private ceremony in France in 2009.
Megan Fox was a guest on “Ellen” yesterday. Ellen found out she was into astrology, and asked her to do a reading. But she made it so that Megan got everything wrong. It sounds like she just said “No” to whatever came out of Megan’s mouth. Megan is in the new movie “This is 40”.
OMG! Suri Cruise is getting $49,000 dollars worth of Christmas gifts from her mom, Katie Holmes this year. $24,000 went to a Grand Victorian Luxury Playhouse. It’s less playhouse and more like a real home, because the building comes with running water, electricity and heat, plus sun and media rooms. Holmes reportedly also got her an iPad mini, a Ralph Lauren dress, a Chloe fur coat and a $9,700 kids’ version of a Mercedes.
Kristen Stewart says she’s sorry she upset her fans when she cheated on Rob Pattinson with her “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders. ”I apologize to everyone for making them so angry. It was not my intention.” Stewart continues, “As long as people’s perspective of me doesn’t keep me from doing what I want to do, it doesn’t matter.”
Simon Cowell still won’t admit he’s in a full-on relationship with Carmen Electra. But yesterday on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, he revealed that they’ve been seeing each other. Ryan said he had talked recently with Simon’s girlfriend, and Simon asked, “Which one?” Then he said he had been on a few dates with Carmen, but they weren’t together.
“The Voice” judge, Blake Shelton says he played a part in Kelly Clarkson’s engagement. “I told Brandon [Blackstock], ‘Man, you need to grow up and figure out that you need to marry this girl,’” Shelton said. “You need to get your head out of your ass and ask that girl to marry you.” The Voice coach was so adamant about the proposal that he even offered to perform at the reception. Clarkson announced her engagement on Saturday via Twitter. “I’m so glad he did [it], adds Shelton. “He is one hardheaded dude and she’s the best thing to happen to him.”
Attention Bachelorette fans. It looks like Emily Maynard and Jef Holm may begetting back together! The two have be spotted a number of times recently about town holding hands. Emily said attending the wedding of Ashley Herbert and J.P. Rosenbaum made her realize that she should give their relationship a second chance. Those who are cynical are saying that Jef wants to get back in the spotlight because Sean Lowe’s “Bachelor” season about to start and the spotlight will swing away from him. So the question is, for those who care, is it romance or a showmance because the holidays are just on the horizon.
You know those prank 911 calls claiming there was gun violence at the homes of Justin Bieber and Ashton Kutcher? The person who manufactured all that is only 12 years old. He lives in California and refuses to go to school choosing instead to sit in front of his computer constantly talking with other hackers. It’s being said he is antisocial, preferring the keyboard to personal contact. Law enforcement is sympathetic to the home situation and steps are underway to remove the child from the home and place him in a stable foster environment. The L.A. County D.A. has yet to make a decision on charging the boy with crimes.
It’s come out that ABC reporter and anchor Sam Donaldson, 78, was arrested earlier this month in Delaware for driving under the influence. Law enforcement officials in Lewes, Delaware pulled Donaldson over for a traffic violation shortly before 8 p.m. on Dec. 1st but offices noticed Donaldson had been drinking. When he failed a field sobriety test, he was taken to a police station where he was booked then released to a responsible adult.
Nick Cannon, now married to Mariah Carey, says the reason he broke up with Kim Kardashian in 2006, was over her sex tape with Ray-J. The “America’s Got Talent” host told Howard Stern he ended the relationship when she lied, saying there was no such tape. Cannon says Kardashian is a nice girl but he didn’t like the fact that she didn’t tell the truth. The sex tape helped boost her profile and Nick believes she had a part in its release.
New York Jets backup quarterback Tim Tebow and his rumored girlfriend, Camilla Belle, have called it quits. The couple dated for less than two months and were first spotted together bowling in Jacksonville, Fla., at the end of October. Benched Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez split from his girlfriend too recently. Sanchez had been dating Eva Longoria but was dumped in October. According to TM, the reason for the split was Sanchez’s bad mood from his team’s horrible season.
