Oprah Winfrey’s exclusive no-holds-barred interview with Lance Armstrong, “Oprah and Lance Armstrong: The Worldwide Exclusive,” has expanded to air as a two-night event on the Oprah Winfrey Network. The program will air Thursday, January 17 from 9-10:30pm and Friday, January 18 at 9pm. The interview will be simultaneously streamed LIVE worldwide both nights on Oprah.com. Oprah says she prepared 112 questions for the interview, and got through most of them.
Oprah went on “CBS This Morning” yesterday to talk about her interview with Lance Armstrong. She confirmed what everyone already knew . . . that Lance told her he was a cheater. But it sounds like he still found a way to keep her guessing. Oprah was pretty vague about it, so she wouldn’t ruin the interview. But she said he didn’t confess in the way she expected, and he kept everyone in the room “mesmerized” with the story he told.
NBC is developing a comedy starring Jessica Simpson. The show would feature Simpson playing a version of herself in a Curb Your Enthusiasm-style look at her life, including the birth of her second child. The show would be up for consideration next fall. In the meantime, Jessica will return to “Fashion Star” for it’s second season on March 8th.
Jessica joined Jay Leno last night on the Tonight show. She talked about how she reacted when she found out she was pregnant again. She was, quote, “extremely shocked.” She said it happened on what was basically a one-night stand with her boyfriend, of course. Jessica said she and her boyfriend Eric Johnson have tried to get married twice, and they’ve had to postpone it both times. But she has a plan this time. They’ve postponed because of the two pregnancies. So this time she says she’ll keep her legs crossed.
With 87 years to go, it’s kind of early to call this, but “GQ” magazine has chosen the 100 Hottest Women of the 21st Century. And they gave Beyoncé the ultimate title of “Miss Millennium’. The list contains Katie Holmes, Britney Spears, Meghan Fox, and Halle Berry. Some less predictable ladies also made the cut, including Jenna Bush, Paula Broadwell, Amanda Knox, Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton. The list calls Upton “Miss 2012,” adding “You’re looking at a poster of the American male fantasy, circa last year.”
Britney Spears is expected sign a deal with Ceaser’s Palace in Vegas, worth over $100 million a year to perform 80 concerts over the next two years. The deal is expected to be one of the most lucrative in the history of the city. According to sources, there will be clauses in Spears’ contract to protect Caeser’s Palace against a possible return to Britney’s erratic behavior.
Amanda Bynes is back and she’s started a Tumblr. She just posted a photo of herself in a car with a pierced cheek with a silver stud. Let’s just hope she’s not behind the wheel. In 2012, the actress got a DUI, two hit-and-run charges and two separate charges for driving with a suspended license.
Everything was worked out in Lindsay Lohan’s favor if the actress would have only not fired her lawyer just as she was settling a plea bargain to keep Lilo out of jail. Shawn Holley, who has kept Lindsay out of jail so far, had bargained a six month “lockdown rehab” instead of going behind bars. Tuesday morning, Holley went to the hearing saying she still represented the actress because she has not been formally dismissed by a judge. If Shawn told the judge she was fired and formally asked to be relieved, the judge could have and probably would have issued a bench warrant for Lindsay’s arrest. Anyway, the judge was surprised about Holley’s answer and since it’s not clear who really is repping Lohan, the judge ordered the actress to personally appear in court on January 30th.
Samuel L. Jackson just recorded his OWN version of Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.” It’s more like a spoken-word piece when he does it. And he throws in a few choice words, because he’s Samuel L. Jackson.

In and interview with “Today” Kim said that Khloe has been very open about her fertility issues but she was quiet about hers. She says she was surprised when the doctors said one thing and then the opposite happened. The baby is expected in July.

Charlie Sheen is going to be a grandpa! His daughter, 28 year old Cassandra Estevez and her husband are expecting a baby. “Me as a grandfather, it’s like the world’s gonna crack in half. This is not a title I’m ready to adopt” Sheen told Letterman on the Late Night show. Cassandra is Sheen’s daughter with his high school girlfriend, Paula Profit. Charlie also said he would like to appear in the final episode of “Two and A Half Men”. Noting he was killed off in the series, Charlie responded…”I am dead, but so is the show”…

There was another incident in November.
The show, “Drop Dead Diva” has been cancelled after four seasons on the Lifetime network. Season 4 wrapped back in September and Lifetime delayed a decision on moving forward with Season 5 until they could evaluate their new pilots. “Diva” fans are likely to be especially upset given the way Season 4 ended: Jane shared a kiss with Grayson the same day she was supposed to marry Owen, who suffered a heart attack.
Oxygen’s new reality show “All My Babies’ Mamas” has been canceled after a Change.org petition against the one-hour special received 37,000 signatures. Oxygen was planning to highlight Shawty Lo, an Atlanta-based rapper who has 11 children with 10 different women. The program was going to show Shawty moving into one house with all his kids and baby mama’s! You can only imagine the drama as the women and children vie for the rapper’s attention and affection. Petitioner Sabrina Lamb described it as a “one hour spectacle where 11 children are forced to witness their 10 unwed mothers clamor for financial support, emotional attention and sexual reward from Shawty-Lo, the apathetic ‘father’.” She asked consumers to “sign today to tell Oxygen that their viewers will not tolerate a show that exploits and stereotypes Black children and families, and will boycott any advertiser who chooses to support the show.”
