We finally got to see Oprah’s interview with Lance Armstrong last night. And she got all the big issues out of the way right at the start, with tough ‘Yes-or-No’ questions. She asked him four questions about different kinds of substances he might have used. He answered “Yes” to all four questions, and then answered “No” when she asked if he thought it was possible to win the Tour de France seven times in a row without doping. He talked about beating cancer, the seven Tour de France wins, his perfect marriage and perfect family and because he’s flawed, he couldn’t keep up with the myth.

Lance gave the ingredients of his doping cocktail. It’s just a bit of EPO, transfusions of his own blood, and testosterone. Oprah asks him if he was afraid of getting caught, and he said no. Apparently the drug tests and procedures back then were different, and he found it easy to get around them.

Conan O’Brien talked about Lance Armstrong being stripped of his Olympic medal. Conan said they’re also going to take away his Latin Grammy.
