The Jane Report

Tim McGraw was on “Ellen” yesterday, and Ellen wanted to know if he was wearing the underwear she gave him as a gift a while back. He had to admit he wasn’t because he wasn’t wearing any underwear at all. He said his pants were too tight to wear them with underwear. But she put him on the spot, so he thought it was best to be honest about it.
Justin Bieber did an interview with Jimmy Fallon last night. He talked about his new Ferrari and how he’s always getting pulled over in it. Not because he’s speeding, though. It’s because he’s trying to keep the rest of us safe. He has really dark tints on his windows. The cops pull him over because it’s illegal. And he tells them he needs to keep the windows dark so people won’t cause accidents trying to take pictures of him. In other words . . . he’s doing it for our sakes.
So Justin Bieber isn’t all about driving Ferraris and breaking up with his girlfriend. He’s actually doing something to help people. He told Jimmy Fallon he volunteers with food banks, because when he was young his mother had to rely on food banks to get by sometimes.
The ninth annual Puppy Bowl had its best ratings ever with 2.6 million viewers on Animal Planet, which was up 64% from last year. The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals was not at all pleased with Beyonce’s Super Bowl halftime performance. They particularly had a problem with what she was wearing. Beyonce wore a Rubin Singer leather bodysuit which was made from python, iguana and leather. “Today’s fashions are trending toward humane vegan options, and Beyonce’s Super Bowl outfit missed the mark on that score.” PETA also took issue with the Christian Dior mink coat Beyonce wore to President Obama’s inauguration.
It’s extremely early to be speculating on the upcoming “Star Wars” movies, but of course, people are doing it anyway. A relatively reliable movie news website called Ain’t It Cool News claims to have some scoop on the first stand-alone “Star Wars” flick. This isn’t part of the upcoming TRILOGY. As you may recall, Disney and Lucasfilm also announced some one-shot movies that would be within the “Star Wars” universe, but independent of the trilogy. Basically, they can go wherever they want with these movies. And supposedly, the first one will be all about Yoda. You can ask more questions, but I won’t be able to answer them. That’s literally all the website says: That Yoda will be the focus of the movie.
A Lady Gaga tour rider has hit the Internet . . . and in this one, she demands a, quote, “mannequin with puffy pink pubic hair.” It’s unclear where she expected people to actually FIND a mannequin with pink hair down there . . . or if they were just supposed to MAKE one. The rider adds, quote, “Please send us some samples.” Lady Gaga also likes to stay REGULAR while on tour . . . digestively-speaking. She’s asking for bran flake cereal . . . peanut butter with flax seed oil . . . hummus and whole wheat bread . . . and “six containers of Activia (vanilla or strawberry, vanilla preferred).” If you don’t know, Activia is the yogurt that basically just makes you poop.

The wife of disgraced Penn State football coach, Joe Paterno, will be talking to Katie Couric on her talk show. It will be Sue Paterno’s first televised appearance since the Penn State child sex scandal was exposed. Paterno died two months after the scandal was discovered, leaving questions about how much he knew about what was going on in his locker rooms with young boys and his assistant coach, Jerry Sandusky. It was also discovered Paterno lied to a grand jury about whether or not he knew of any possible child abuse happening prior to 2001. Paterno was fired, his wins vacated and Sandusky was convicted on 45 counts of child abuse and sentenced to 60 years in prison. The interview will air on Monday, February 11th.
Director James Cameron has won a lawsuit in which a man claimed he was the one with the idea for the huge movie, “Avatar” and wanted part of the movie’s profits. Gerald Morawski sued Cameron and his production company, back in 2011. Morawski claimed that in 1991, he pitched Cameron an idea for a movie called “Guardians of Eden” about a mining company doing battle with a tribe protecting its land. Cameron countered that he created “Avatar” on his own and filed a long and detailed declaration on how the story developed, going back as far as his childhood. The district attorney in Los Angeles has filed a motion that claims Chris Brown cheated and most likely never completed the community service ordered by the court as punishment for his 2009 Grammy Eve assault on Rihanna. The singer was supposed to complete six months of labor oriented service and participate in domestic violence counseling for one year. However, the DA says there is “no credible, competent or verifiable evidence that Defendant Brown performed his community labor.” The legal motion requests that the LA judge refuse to accept Brown’s community service and forces on him to complete his service time or go to jail. Since the 2009 incident, Brown has been showing his anger in a number of ways and most recently with a dust up with Frank Ocean over a parking space. Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos, is lashing out at prosecutors … saying the motion to revoke Chris’ probation is “shameful and a disgrace.”
