The Jane Report

There’s a rumor going around that all SIX actors who’ve played James Bond will appear together onstage at the Oscars. But that might not happen . . . because of Pierce Brosnan.  TMZ asked him about the reunion, and he just said, quote, “Well, they’ll be missing one.”

Jimmy Kimmel talked about Pope Benedict the Sixteenth resigning as the Pope.  He joked that the Pope basically just gave Jesus his two-week notice, and could become the most over-qualified Walmart greeter of all time.

Jimmy Fallon also mentioned the Pope last night, with a fake Twitter beef between the Pope and the Dalai Lama.  The Dalai Lama makes fun of the Pope for only lasting eight years in the position, and then they go back and forth talking trash.

Carrie Underwood talked about the rumors of a feud between her and Taylor Swift yesterday.  She said there isn’t one.  She said tabloids get away with making up false stories by saying they heard it from a “source.”

It appears that Chris Brown and Rihanna were photographed at a post Grammy private party lighting up a doobie. In one shot Brown can be seen with the joint in his mouth, while Rihanna is holding it in another. Since Brown has a medical marijuana card, he’s fine for smoking weed in California and Rihanna doesn’t care who sees her smoking.  After the party, the two headed for home in Chris’s car.

Someone hacked into the Emergency Alert System in Montana yesterday to warn residents of a ZOMBIE ATTACK.  It aired on the CW network. A clip of someone reading the fake emergency claimed that quote, “the bodies of the dead [were] rising from their graves and attacking the living.”

4-year-old Vivienne Jolie-Pitt has already scored her first paying gig … and TMZ has learned she’s raking in a helluva lot more than you made on your paper route back in the day.  Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s daughter is set to co-star with her mom in a movie called “Maleficent” — and according to a minor’s contract filed with the court, little Viv commands $3,000/week! On top of that … she gets a per diem of $60/day. That’s a lot of juice boxes.  Fun Fact — Vivienne plays the role of “Young Aurora” — but another little actress, India Eisley, scored the role of young Maleficent … Angelina’s character in the movie.

The CW has picked up their well established programs, “The Vampire Diaries” and “Supernatural” as well as the new show “Arrow” for another season. “Arrow,” was CW’s most-watched series premiere since 2009 and remains strong. Awaiting to hear their fates for next season are current dramas series “90210,” “Hart of Dixie,” “Beauty and the Beast” and “Nikita.”

Just days after his name appeared in suspected killer Christopher Dorner’s manifesto, Charlie Sheen is reaching out to the ex-cop. In a short video, the Anger Management star urged Dorner to contact him, saying, “You mentioned me in your manifesto, so thank you for your kind words. I am urging you to call me.” “Let’s figure out together how to end this thing,” Sheen continued. “Call me. I look forward to talking to you.” The former Los Angeles Police Department officer became the target of a major manhunt in California after he allegedly killed three people and injured two others, leaving behind a statement posted to Facebook. Sheen decided to make the video “on his own,” saying it wasn’t “sanctioned by police,” and he only wants the killing to stop.

Cher’s a money-making machine — even when it comes to real estate — she’s trying to turn a MILLION profit on her fancy-schmancy L.A. condo!! TMZ has learned Cher quietly listed her 4,000-square-foot crib last week … in the exclusive Sierra Towers — a celeb-magnet Courteney Cox, Elton John, and Joan Collins have all called home. Cher bought the pad back in 2006, for a reported $4.5 million — but immediately gutted and redesigned it. Now, she’s trying to sell the only 2-story condo in the building for $5.5 mil. The primo place is fit for a legend like Cher … rockin’ a giant outdoor terrace, 24/7 concierge service, gym, pool, sundeck, and panoramic L.A. views. Ellen visited the building recently — looking to buy a place for her mom — but only wants to spend about $3 million.

Don Johnson is finally going to get some of the money he was promised in a deal he signed when he starred in the tv show, “Nash Bridges” in 1995.   The program aired 1996-2001 on CBS.  Johnson’s contract called for half ownership in the program if it lasted more than 66 episodes, which it did…the show cranked out 122 episodes.   In 2010, Johnson scored a big $50 million courtroom victory in his lawsuit against Rysher Entertainment. Last October, the award was cut to $15 million on appeal.  The two sides came to a $19 million dollar agreement on Monday rather than go through the appeal process again.

NBCUniversal has announced that it has signed a deal with G4 network to create a new entity called, the Esquire Network.  The network will move from video games to what NBC calls “an upscale Bravo for men.” NBC is hoping to capture a more educated, affluent, sophisticated male viewer, who is not being served on cable channels like Discovery and Spike. The Esquire Network will offer shows aimed at interests like cars, politics, world affairs, travel, fashion and cooking.

Sharon Osbourne says she’s completely banned open flames from her home … after she forgot about a candle and it nearly burned down her house last month. Sharon forgot to put the candle out before going to sleep and the fire spread. Damage was minimal thanks to the quick response of the Beverly Hills Fire Department.

Patrick Carney from The Black Keys said that Justin Bieber has no business winning Grammys.  Patrick was asked by fans outside Chateau Marmont when he asked if Bieber should feel snubbed — seeing as how he didn’t get a single Grammy nomination this year — and he simply said, “He’s rich, right?” The Keys’ drummer threw another jab at Bieber, adding … “Grammys are for like music, not for money … and he’s making a lot of money. He should be happy.” The Black Keys took home 4 Grammys Sunday night and they probably aren’t hurting in the money department either.
