The Jane Report

Jessica Simpson accidentally revealed that she’s pregnant with a BOY on last night’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.  She didn’t mean to, and then told everyone it wasn’t “planned” for her to say that.  She said, quote, “It’s a totally different pregnancy.  I just feel awful, I’ve been vomiting   the crazy thing is I never knew a WIENER could make me nauseous.”  At that point, she realized she goofed, and added, quote, “I can’t believe I just did that, that was not planned.”

Jimmy Kimmel asked Jessica Simpson if she’s going to name her baby “Ace,” and she didn’t outright say it but she still tried to make people think she could be having a girl.  Then went back on it, and admitted that she’s having a boy.

While a certain tabloid claimed Drew Barrymore was pregnant with her and Will Kopelman’s second child, a source close to the actress tells E! News this is not true. Drew is pretty busy already with her adorable 5-month-old daughter and new makeup line, Flower. That said, she still sneaks in some girl time with BFF Cameron Diaz. They’re currently vacationing together in Mexico. Little Olive certainly has some awesome women in her life to look up to!

Miley Cyrus went on Twitter to deny that she called off her wedding to Liam Hemsworth despite rumors that he cheated on her last month with January Jones.  Miley then Tweeted that she was taking a break from social media because it’s “draining”.  But a few hours later, she Tweeted, quote, “Not discussing anything but my music from now on.”

The “Star” tabloid says Kim Kardashian has gained 65 pounds since getting pregnant, and she’s REALLY sweating it.  A so-called “source” says she’s up to 185 pounds, she’s eating and crying uncontrollably and she doesn’t even like Kanye West to see her naked anymore.  Therefore, as soon as the baby is born, she’s going directly under the knife and spending millions of dollars to, quote, “get everything lifted.”

Demi Moore is finally filing divorce papers, 16 months after splitting up with Ashton Kutcher.  Apparently,  she tired of trying to reach a confidential settlement with Kutcher, and the couple’s divorce could go to a trial. “Ashton made a lot of money after marrying Demi — a lot more than she made — but despite him becoming just as famous through her, he believes he doesn’t owe her that much,” a source said,” adding of Demi: “She has had enough.” Moore’s lawyers could file paperwork in Los Angeles as early as today, we hear. Kutcher filed divorce papers in December, a year after the couple split, but this would be the first time Moore responds. She’d been hoping to quietly negotiate a settlement and then file the papers once an agreement was reached. But negotiations got bogged down, and, “Ashton has been very difficult during the talks,” the insider said. “You could even say he has been hostile.” Kutcher is the highest-paid actor on TV, pulling in $24 million last year for “Two and a Half Men,” and he’s also become a savvy investor in various tech start-ups. “After over a year of attempting to reach a settlement, Demi is definitely ready to move on,” the source said of her decision to file. “It’s hoped lawyers for both sides can reach a settlement this spring, otherwise the divorce will go into litigation and trial.”

“Oz the Great and Powerful” opens tomorrow.  It’s a prequel to “The Wizard of Oz,” and tells how a small town illusionist is sucked into a tornado, lands in Oz, and manages to convince everyone he’s a powerful wizard.  James Franco plays the wizard, Michelle Williams is Glinda the Good Witch, and the other two witches are played by Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz.   It’s directed by “Spider-Man” director Sam Raimi.

The rumors that Jay Leno will be leaving the Tonight Show are picking up steam. There’s been some talk that NBC is secretly planning to give Jimmy Fallon “The Tonight Show” when Jay Leno’s contract is up next year, even if Leno isn’t ready to step down.  And the “New York Post” reports that NBC is “grooming” Howard Stern to replace Fallon on HIS show, “Late Night”, which of course airs right after “The Tonight Show”.  The “Post” credits this to anonymous “sources close to” Stern.  There’s no official word from NBC or Stern and there probably won’t be UNLESS it’s a denial.  NBC has already denied rumors that they’re planning on moving Fallon to “The Tonight Show”, and Leno’s people wouldn’t comment.  The “Post” suggests that, by bringing Stern to “America’s Got Talent” last year, NBC was able to show that he CAN be tamed for TV, and he can appeal to a younger audience.  That’s important because the main reason NBC would swap Leno for Fallon is to chase the key demographic of 18- to 49-year-olds.  If Stern didn’t appeal to that group, they could lose the young viewers Fallon would potentially attract.

According to experts, a swarm of GIANT MOSQUITOES are set to invade central Florida this summer.  The flooding from tropical storms should lead to a mass hatching of these mosquitoes during the summer.  They’re about 20 TIMES LARGER than regular mosquitoes and their bites are painful.
