The top 10 performed on “American Idol” last night. But Nicki Minaj only got to see nine of them. That’s right, she was LATE, to a live taping. Ryan Seacrest couldn’t resist a few jokes about it at the start of the show. He asked the other three judges which one of them gave Nicki wrong directions to the studio.
Nicki might have been late, but she came prepared with some good material. After Kree Harrison sang Roy Orbison’s “Crying”, Nicki went off on this crazy thing about how she loves to eat buttermilk waffles on her days off from work. She said Kree’s performance was like eating one of those waffles. Because it was smooth, delicious, and fun and she’d still enjoy it if she was by herself.
And speaking of Ryan Seacrest, he must be one understanding boyfriend, because he’s still with Julianne Hough after she left $100,000 worth of jewelry he gave her in her car … and guess what happened? Julianne was in Hollywood Friday night, visiting a friend in an apartment complex, law enforcement sources tell us. She parked her Mercedes in the lot, leaving 3 pieces of jewelry inside the car — jewelry Ryan had given her. A few hours later, Julianne went to her car and looked in horror as she saw the door wide open and the inside ransacked.
It’s unclear if Julianne left the door unlocked, but there were no visible signs of forced entry. We don’t have specifics on the 3 pieces of jewelry, but we’ve confirmed the total value is $100k. It’ll take 10 minutes for Ryan to make enough to replace those baubles.
The couple that starts their relationship together on national television, stays together? Sean Lowe and his bride-to-be, 26-year-old Seattle graphic designer Catherine Giudici, announced their plans to say “I do” in front of the cameras on the After the Final Rose special following the season finale on Monday, March 11. And though the Texas native has always been adamant that he’s not seeking fame through the franchise, he did admit that their decision to share their happiest moment with America was “only fitting.”

Katy bought the house with Russell Brand when they were married. She has full title and has been quietly trying to sell it for a long time, but she’s not getting anywhere near the $8 million she wants. Katy wanted to avoid putting the house in the multiple listing service — which is the Paul Revere of the real estate world. She wanted to sell the house on the down-low, but it’s just not happening. We’ve learned she’s agreed to put the house in the MLS in 2 weeks, and she’ll reduce the asking price to the mid 7s — as in millions. But here’s the deal … Our real estate sources say she’ll definitely sell it if someone offers in the high 6s.
There are reports that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have broken up, but one source says, quote, “Miley and Liam have been a bit rocky, but are not giving up. They both want it to work.” Possible reasons they’re going through a rough patch include her partying, his wandering eye and his not really being into her new look.
Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore are back in the news these days. So it only makes sense that we’re hearing whispers about their failed marriage and why it didn’t work out. And according to one source - it had to do with a baby. Or rather a lack of a baby! Here’s what the source had to say about it: “Demi tried for YEARS to get pregnant with Ashton. She was in her early 40s when they first got together, and she put her body through hell trying to have his baby. Ashton wanted a child from day one, and Demi knew he would make an amazing father after seeing how great he was with her girls.
